20 Artworks 20 Days Starts Today!

Day 1

Well it's finally here! I'm so glad that the time has come to share my new paintings with you...

I have been thinking about what I wanted to represent in my paintings and in the past many of my paintings have been on vintage home themes. I still enjoy doing these but on greater reflection I decided that a small voice was telling me to paint something more dear to my heart. It was what I had originally envisioned for Patchwork Family Art but had been left by the wayside as time had gone on. My sweet girls are a blessing to me and so this collection of 20 artworks in 20 days will share a little of the blessing that children add to our lives.

My first artwork " My dream come true" is loosely based on my cousin and her precious girl. I hope that you enjoy it!

Woohoo- Just One Week!

I'm really excited that my release of artworks
20 Artworks in 20 Days

                                                       is only one week away!!!

I have been painting and preparing for months and am so excited that the time is finally here. A big thank you to my family too who have put up with a bit of a mess around the place as I put my time into getting ready!

It is a little bit of a theme change for me- most of the artworks are relating to motherhood- mother & child, adoption, pregnancy and siblings. I am hoping that many mums will relate to this theme!
Here's a sneak peek.........

If you would like to know more about my journey into motherhood look at my 'about' page.
Hope to have you visit, starting from May1st..........

Holiday Musings

Boy this blog sure has been quiet for the last couple of weeks... I have been having a wonderful holiday with my family and haven't yet mastered the art of blogging from my iphone!

We went to Harrington on the NSW mid north coast. It was one of those holidays that was just so lovely that the days were flying by and before I had even started to think about it - there was only a couple of days left. I love the ages of my girls, holidays are easier and days at the beach so fun and relaxing. We had the pleasure of the girls cousin Lucy joining us for the holiday. Having that 'extra daughter' meant another playmate thrown into the mix and added to the fun!
Here are some of the holiday favourites...
